Trading large volumes and/or forward delivery
The spot document is NOT recommended by AFMA for use when trading significant volumes of Environmnetal Products or when dealing forward.
Under those circumstances the AFMA recommends using ISDA based documentation, as set out in Part 3.11 of the "Guide to Australian OTC Transactions" available by electronic download to subscribers by clicking here.
The draft ISDA® based contract and the Johnson Winter & Slattery explanatory note commenting on whether or not that contract is a derivative under the Corporations Act 2001 or is subject to IAS 32/AASB 139 and IAS 39 as adopted in Australia and whether the commodity is tangible property are no longer available from this section of the AFMA website.
