Risk Frameworks Certificate
The Global Markets Risk Frameworks Certificate provides formal, award recognition of having undertaken further training in risk management, currently at the forefront of regulatory efforts.
Who should enrol?
This certificate is ideal for those working in financial markets, and seeking competency-based professional development in risk management. The certificate can be put towards a later full qualification in financial risk management if you are seeking it.
What will you achieve?
Being awarded an AFMA Certificate in Global Markets Risk Frameworks means you will achieve a Statement of Attainment for a Global Market Risk Skill Set. This comprises the following three (3) competencies:
- FNSRSK501A Undertake risk identification
- FNSRSK502A Assess risks
- BSBRSK501A Manage risk
This skill set can be put towards further study in the Vocational Education and Training sector (e.g. a full qualification in Financial Risk Management).
The skill set is drawn from the Diploma of Integrated Risk Management, FNS50811.
How is the program structured?
You are eligible to undertake the certificate if you have attended (or plan to attend) any three (3) of the following workshops:
Each workshop is a full day (9.00-5.00) session with course notes provided to the students, a presentation and interactive activities.
Students are then typically assessed via in-class quizzes and a workplace project based on a set of short-answer questions, which is due three (3) weeks after your last workshop.
You can of course still attend the workshops without undertaking the Certificate. If you have already completed these workshops, you can still undertake the Certificate from your workplace at a later time.
