About the Speaker
Petar Kuessner, Partner, Norton Rose Australia
Petar Kuessner is a Partner in the Banking & Finance Group of the Sydney office of the international law firm Norton Rose Australia. Petar has worked as a lawyer in Sydney and London. Prior to Norton Rose Australia, Petar worked in the London office of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for over four years and then in the Sydney office of Australian law firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
Petar’s main areas of practice are in derivatives, securitisation, structured finance and capital markets, giving him a practical, as well as theoretical, detailed understanding of the topics that are covered in both the Introductory and Advanced OTC Documentation Workshops.
Petar regularly presents on derivatives, including at ISDA Conferences, as well as being an occasional presenter for the University of Sydney’s undergraduate and Master of Laws programmes as well as regularly presenting for AFMA.
